VIMAXMonitor controls the functional availability of all GATE systems (MISS, trader PCs, 3rd Party application servers) within the production environment for several markets in real time, and shows their dysfunctions as well as delays while receiving market data.
Thus, all communication problems among the GATE systems are detected and localised in real time. Furthermore, a technical (re-requests, resends and losts of trading information) and content-related control of the IP Multicast data streams, used for the distribution of data, takes place. Then, dysfunctions in complex installations can be immediately detected and eliminated, too.
All statuses’ modifications are visualised according to the traffic light-principle on the display.
Optionally, the information of VIMAXMonitor can be easily integrated in the operating process of an existing systems- and network management system (e.g. IBM Tivoli, hp Open View, among others).
