Before the project will begin, an intensive conversation with both the IT and the trading department takes place on-site, in order to get a preferably correct idea of the current situation, as well as the targets connected with the analysis.
In the 1st phase, the analysis’ focus is to find logical configuration errors of the complete configuration and the broadcast data streams’ configuration. Therefore, the status of the Front End Installation, the GATE components, the internal trading network and the data streams are recorded in a configuration table, diagrammed, analysed and compared with the current Sizing Guidelines of Deutsche Börse AG.
In the first report, the gained information is described. Thereby, the first modifications of the configuration of the Front End Installation and the internal trading network arise.
In the 2nd phase of the project, the analysis’ focus is to find re-requests and losts of market information (streams) in the IP Multicast data streams.
Resulting from the gained information of the first analysis, specific measurement systems are defined between which deviations from the ordinary runtime, while distributing public market data and private confirmations, arise.
